1973 MGB - chrome overriders (bumper guards) with rubber strips - and it has a factory hardtop. Grille slats are black in picture - 1973 had black plastic inserts, and the bumper guards had rubber front edges. 1962-1969 bumper guards would not have the rubber, and the grille bars would be chrome. |

No - 1973 grille was not vertical slats but a black plastic mesh - http://www.mgcars.org.uk/wdmgcc/r_poupard_73mgb.htm . This is a 62-69 grille, and what I can see of these bumpers is also 62-69. I also think it is 1968 or earlier from sidelight position, which was moved closer to grille 69 onwards. |
