Na, not a Chevy. Dodge or International Harvester are close. There was another car that was really similar but I can't remember it... |

I found a Great site on old vintage cars and trucks. It is a little messy, but it helps. http://oldcarandtruckpictures.com/PickupTrucks/ <1910 to 1949 old trucks 1949 Dodge pickup is very close, http://oldcarandtruckpictures.com/PickupTrucks/1950-1959.html <1950 to 1959 vintage trucks And so is a Dodge 3/4 ton pickup truck, 1951 Fargo truck is also kind of close and so is the 55 Studebaker. http://oldcarandtruckpictures.com/PickupTrucks/1960-1973.html <1960 to 1973 vintage trucks This site features mostly American Cars. Fords, Chevrolets, Dodges, Jeeps, Studebakers, Buicks, Oldsmobiles, Cadillacs and others. It does not feature too many Internationl Harvesters and the ones they have listed aren't very close to the one we are looking for. Hope it helps you find out what we are looking for.. |

Take the grille guard off that truck and you'll get this: Link to "www.stovebolt.com" Would you look at that -- an International Harvester of the same period. http://www.stovebolt.com/gallery/alternate/fortune_john_1952_binder.htm |

It's at least an L-150. That line on the fender is not present on smaller models such as L-110, L-120 and L-130. |
