A little bit of history that I found on this model if you are interested. www.qv500.com/porsche911scp6.php ![]() I guess you could edit the name of this to reflect the Flachtbau options of the vehicle, as they were not official factory option until the 1987 model. -- Last edit: 2006-08-11 18:06:55 |

The car featured here is actually a Porsche 935 (it appears to be have a factory appearance as well, as seen in this link: Link to "www.americaninternationalracing.com" There is info on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_935 that says, "A black road driven 935 (chassis #930 000 00027, which was in fact modified for road use by its owner Angelo Pallavicini in Switzerland) appeared in the Disney film Condorman as the lead villain's car, in a sequence which he leads a gang of black 911s." which therefore brings the conclusion that the car is a 935. However, if he or she doesn't believe me, they can possibly e-mail him from the website http://www.pallavicini.ch/ for confirmation, though I think there is enough evidence as is. |

Flachbau or Slatnose in english, but the Porsche in Condorman is not a 935, its a 901 late 60s 911 with bodykit |

Again, like the other 911s, this supposed 935 didn't look real, or, convincing enough. I think it was the rear wheel arches. I have looked at pics of actual and race-bred 935s (Moby Dick), and those cars never looked as flimsy as this did, not tryin to step on any toes here, but, for those that have watched the movie and have closely scrutinized the appearance of the bodies of these cars will know what I'm on about. |

I am new here. Hi everyone. Just a bit about the reason for the existence of the black Porsche's. Oliver Reed played a guy called Krokov who is with the KGB iirc. Under him is Morovich (Jean-Pierre Kalfon) who is the leader of a highly-trained group of assassins called the Prognoviach who Krokov can send out. They are identified by their black Porsche's who as a group terrorize local villages whenever they hear the engines from afar. In the film one village in what is the former Yugoslavia which 'Woddy' and 'Natalia' are visiting, they hear the engines in the distance which heralds their imminent arrival and immediately run for their houses and close all shutters leaving the village streets deserted. |

Agree pimped 911. Chrome windscreen surround plus black wipers usually means a 68+ 911, possibly up until 78; faster 911 versions got black windscreen surrounds from 75. If all pictures on road and rallycrossing are same car, proportions look 69+ wheelbase. |

Very french-looking modular alloy wheels, like something from Gotti or PLS. I wonder if that means a french connection for this car. Maybe it was modified by Almeras ? They did make a series of body kits for 911s. |
