Commander 57 ◊ 2009-08-27 20:42	The Checker dated back many years but only built for the cab market until 1960. The body seen began manufacture in 1956 as the Checker Superba. The Marathon (pictured) was introduced for 1961. By 1964, the Superba was dropped and only the Marathon continued until the end, in 1982.
