The only pic I could find seems to have the lights turned 90 degrees. http://www.ironplanet.com/i/21/283/212830018-full.jpg Maybe just different year :??:

Belongs indeed to the same make/family, but the white one shown via the link seems to be more "modern" and is quite longer.

This looks more like the Cement Mixer variation of the "U" Series Macks(Note the offset cab). It's not so much "modern" as it is custom built for the type of work that truck does.

Yes, I agree - a cement mixer and designed for that job. I found a picture on the web but unfortunately no details concerning the model. http://dome.v2.goldenwestradio.ca/publish/images/2147507645_Cement_Mixers_1_.jpg

you're right Ddey its a U600, the only pic I could find is of a 1984, later year model "U"'s had the modern headlight configuration, Id say the one in the pic is 1985/87 http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/loeb/mack_u_model_1984_7.jpg

DMM500 for sure. No truck says "Florida" more than a 6x6 concrete mixer. DMMs were built from the 60s up until the mid-2000s when they were finally replaced by a 6x6 version of the Granite.
