Ingo ◊ 2009-07-25 21:18	1964+ T1. The van in front of it is a former Bundeswehr-VW T2a. Sold by the VEBEG to private customers. (www.vebeg.de). When this pic was made, it was definetly not in military use any more - West Berlin was strictly forbidden for the German Bundeswehr.
Ingo ◊ 2009-07-25 21:48	Or shall we change the pic to the T2a? I think, it's worth to list. And better visible, too. The T1 is worse to see. Due the dark inside it's probably a transporter. By the non-original paintwork and the spare-wheel on the front, perhaps a self-made camper-conversion, based on a T1 Transporter.

Ingo ◊ 2009-07-25 22:00	O.k., thanks. One addition: the T2 is a Transporter, even it has side windows and seats in the back. The Bundeswehr only uses Transporter, never the Bus (and surely no Multivan, Caravelle, etc. )
