The Grand Luxe appeared in UK as Special - Oct 62 - Sept 63 only, with grey metallic paint only, "saddlery type upholstery", and 50 bhp instead of 45 bhp; then replaced by GL (with 52.5 bhp anew softer seats) as elsewhere. The only other UK version was the normal saloon until Sept 63 introduction of GL (so probably after filming), and this colour rules out Grand Luxe/Special. |
