This is the Knight Rider 2010 car.! (...they looked at a 1969 Ford Mustang boss 429 ... and this is what came out of the garage.!) ..I personally can't see any of the mustang in it.? (looks alot newer to me ..maybe based on an 82+ camaro.!)

If there is one thing I can't understand about this movie is why they need so many cardbooard boxes taped to the body of a car!

Build up of this car before the weathered paint job and boxy nose.

Final resting place: Pearsonville, California. Troy Paiva of Lost America shot this photo of it in the junkyard there. As best I can tell (from Mr. Paiva's shot) it is (or was) sitting at the spot that comes up by putting 35.80237,-117.872084 into a Google Maps search.

Actually, this IS a 1969 Ford Mustang boss 429, they put body the kits over the car, look at this video and see the process: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mZi2izRJIs&feature=related

This is a 1991 Ford Thunderbird, as can be seen by studying these photos, it may have been a Mustang in the movie, but it is still a Thunderbird and I think it should be listed as one.

I hope somebody rescues this car...even though the made-for-tv-movie was not successful at least preserve history so when people so this vehicle they will still find something interesting.
