 Tiggo is right. The Golf II is an ugly car. One of the terrible designed cars, which have, at the time of their release, caused my decision, to stop my interest in modern cars from that moment onwards. This was around 1983 and my opinion has never changed.

 When I was growing up, one of my neighbours, whose husband is German, had one of the first Golf IIs in my hometown. It was personally imported and arrived on oval Zoll plates but was right hand drive.
