Also in the background is a Landrover. I am not an expert on these but I guess that a long wheelbase tow truck is an uncommon variant of these. |

I think Zephyr, because it appears not to have the full-width reflective panel between the rear lights that a Zodiac has. I don't know whether that was something deleted on the Abbot Conversion, though. |

Compare with /vehicle_37728-Ford-Zodiac-Estate-1970.html - doesn't have the Zodiac saloon's full width panel (and the shifted number plate is due to the tow hook) but is more ornate than this, so Zephyr confirmed here. Nice reference example. About 2100 Mk4 conversions done by Abbotts on Mk4s, including Zephyrs alongside Zodiacs and sold through Ford dealers as normal Fords. -- Last edit: 2010-11-07 01:01:27 |

Plate unclear. Looks like YPD955G G suffix -> 1968/1969, if it is real. |
