How can you tell? There is almost no front fascia difference between the Oldsmobile Alero, Aura or Intrigue. Heck, the Bravada has the same front except it is stretched more! |

Good Call, They had the same frontend from 1998/2001 -- Last edit: 2006-06-10 03:59:33 |

I have the car that's how I can tell, I see it every day, and it's spelled Aurora, not Aura. Also, the Intrigue had the same front end for its entire production life between 1998-2002. -- Last edit: 2006-06-23 04:41:21 |

It's not all that difficult. The Aurora flares out a little more below the belt line (so the front profile is somewhat trapezoid shaped), and (if I'm not mistaken), the Alero has slightly bigger air vent thingys (then again, it could help that I've seen the movie, where they also show the back of the car). |

How do we know this is a 1998? |

we see a little bit of the wheels at the end of the video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ug-h86MCZEs not totally sure it is a 1998 anymore but when we're unsure , we take the earliest possible year chrome wheels were an option offered on GL ( highy probaby on GLS too ) according to brochure and they kinda look like the 1998-1999 wheels too ![]() -- Last edit: 2024-11-28 00:17:17 |
