HDT Commodore by Peter Brock's Holden Dealer Team operation. These were a race homologation special, with 500 being built. They were available in red, white or black only (the colours of Brock's Marlboro cigarettes race team sponsor), and were commonly known as Brock Commodores. This scene was the reenactment of the arrival of Christopher Dale Flannery who came to Sydney in early 1979 to make a name for himself in the Sydney Underworld.

During his time in Sydney, he became a major figure in the Sydney Gangland War and joined sides with armed robber and drug dealer, Arthur Neddy Smith and started shooting at rivals of Smith.

According to Smith, Smith was trying to bring peace to the Sydney Gangland War, but Flannery was paranoid and refused to stop shooting at anyone who were associates of Smith's rivals, drug kingpin, Barry McCann and McCann's enforcer and Underworld identity, Thomas "Tough Tom" Domican.

In reality, he arrived in Sydney with his friend, Michael Melbourne Mick Sayers and it was believed that Laurence Pendergast who disappeared from his home in Heidelberg West on the 23rd August 1985 had come to Sydney to find those who were responsible for Flannery's disappearance and suspected murder but those who were involved in Flannery's disappearance and suspected murder found out about Pendergast and had him killed in a pre-emptive strike.
