DynaMike ◊ 2009-04-28 12:26	I'd say this is a 1957, not a 1958. Check the taillights and the rectangular centre part of the bumper (more V-shaped in 1958). By the single colour and simple trim it will be a Medalist [58C].
niladmirari ◊ 2009-05-10 18:53	I agree that this is a 1957, but it is not a Medalist, as there was no Medalist in the 1957 Mercury line. It was discontinued that year, only to make one more appearance for 1958. The Montclair and Monterey shared the same bodies and roofline, but the Montclair has fancier trim (for example, thicker chrome trim on the upper lip of the rear window) so I think this must be a Monterey without the optional two-tone finish.
