It's definitely a two-door, though. Did they have two door Country Sedans? http://www.cardcow.com/86069/59-ford-ranch-wagon-transportation-cars/ -- Last edit: 2009-05-05 21:21:55 |

With all due respect I think Wikipedia might be wrong on this one. Here's an ad from 1959 that ID's the only two door wagon as the Ranch and the Country Sedan as a four door: http://blogs.lubbockonline.com/centennial/images/59_Ford.jpg Update: the same Wikipedia article ID's the two door '59 wagon as a Ranch Wagon, but it seems to have slightly different trim. Based on that I'll go for now with the Country Sedan as you said. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:1959_Ford_Ranch_Wagon_2-door.jpg -- Last edit: 2009-05-05 21:27:17 |

I have a book at home that could verify Wikipedia. I could check that when I get off work. |

Well, my book didn't help but I did find this. www.lovefords.org/59ford/ford/wagons.htm Heavy loads are a breeze to this 6-passenger, 2-door Country Sedan. It features a special roll-down rear quarter window, and like all ’59 Fords it makes available a new, simplified Fordomatic Drive…priced so low as to banish “stick shifting” forever! |

I guess that's what it is then, a Country Sedan. |

This is indeed a Country Sedan 2 door wagon, one of only 8,663 made for 1959. |

Why's this still listed as a '59 Ranch Wagon? |
