As far as the older ones are concerned, things are different, and you are right as far as the Golf III is regarded. It was not only built in Wolfsburg, but also in Slovakia, South Africa(RHD)and Puebla, Mexico. But the current Jetta is- among other facilities, of course-also built in Mexico.
