Ep 7.02 - only 1 (so far??) COMMER SSL729 1937 GREEN PETROL Chassis No: 1004745 "This Commer 8cwt Light Van was purchased from us in June last year, having previous been owned by a film company and used in many TV and film productions. The vendor describes the Hillman Minx-based commercial as a good example of a classic and rare vehicle. A restoration has been carried out at some stage, but details are sadly unknown. There is no accompanying paperwork, so the next owner will need to apply for a new V5C. First registration was on 1 September 1937." from Jan 2026 auction listing. Nothing in our collection to match its other film appearances. SSL not an original plate series but a modern DVLA retro issue - no clue what it was originally. |
