In theory these were officially available through Chrysler UK with English brochures printed - I've got one somewhere - and an approved RHD conversion developed. But they sold next to zero as no real effort was made to promote them and they were wildly overpriced here - particularly with the RHD option - so Chrysler UK changed their mind and took them off the list.

RUF 851M featured here with lots of pics.

"n 1976 the Matra-Simca Bagheera Series 2 models appeared including Base, S and Courreges versions. The bodywork had been redesigned with wraparound bumpers, modified side rear windows and new light clusters at the back. In 1977 Chrysler UK were persuaded by dealers to import LHD Bagheeras into the UK; the Matra Enthusiasts Club has records that 65 (around half of those brought into the UK) were converted into RHD, the work being carried out as part of a customer’s order. This turned an already costly import into an expensive £6000 car, and Chrysler wanted nothing to do with it – observers suggest these conversions were not well implemented."

Top Gear unforgivably trashed the only RHD Matra-built Bagheera.

Plate info suggests this one from 1973 was UK reg'd in 1992 and as a first type pre-facelift Bagheera from before the Chrysler UK episode probably a private import, so made for GB not justified. But it looks delicious
