What rules out [XT] taillights? |

I'm more well-versed in Holdens, but here we go. [XR] has a taillamp design where the repeater is round and connected with tiny chrome lines around it. [XR] has "F A L C O N" script across the boot. [XT] has a different taillamp design with a horizontal line that runs through and connect with a boot garnish. Falcon has no boot garnish but uses the same "F A L C O N" script like [XR]. Doing some more research this is 100% an [XT] Falcon 500 since it has a black boot garnish with the badge being placed on the right side, it's hard to see but you can even see the faint black line in the taillamp that connects the garnish. The [XR] 500 cars don't have this boot garnish and a "FALCON" scipt is instead present. So in conclusion, this should be a 68-69 [XT] Falcon 500. ![]() -- Last edit: 2026-08-04 16:55:59 |
