What a search!! Congratulations. From the same blogspot but now in this link Link to "thescooterscoop.blogspot.com" (see bottom of that page) we found that from 68 to 82 NYPD used Lammys (an unknown maker for me) ![[Image: 149615-Misterioso42.jpg]](http://pics.imcdb.org/0ge14/149615-Misterioso42.jpg) Later NYPD got the Yamaha Riva ![[Image: 149616-Misterioso41.jpg]](http://pics.imcdb.org/0ge14/149616-Misterioso41.jpg) In this site is we take a look to the movie We Own the Night /movie_498399-We-Own-the-Night.html we'll found a Police Yamaha Riva and this movie was completely filmed in NY http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0498399/locations so I think the scooter can be fixed as you said.Post Data:lately seems NYPD use the Piaggio BV200 ![[Image: 149622-Misterioso43.jpg]](http://pics.imcdb.org/0ge14/149622-Misterioso43.jpg) but also it is being considered change the Piaggio for Vextrix ![[Image: 149623-Misterioso44.jpg]](http://pics.imcdb.org/0ge14/149623-Misterioso44.jpg) An electric scooter with 11.000 $ worth per unit. -- Last edit: 2009-02-04 17:29:36 |

'Lammy' suggests to me it could be a knickname for 'Lambretta'? Here is the 'Life on Mars' NYPD scooter.... /vehicle_203171-Piaggio-Vespa.html |
