I'd actually be inclined to disagree. I think the majority of American cars (especially sedans and coupes) from the 60's through the 70's are hideous. |

i say, that the american car industry was able to destroy every name with a former good reputation. compare the orignal models from the 50ies and 70ies with the later followed junk with the same name. it would smash this thread, just to list examples. |

1983-1984 Cougar in Medium Red; I can't see any details that would narrow it down to one year. I'm obviously biased, but I like the personal luxury coupe Cougars, and they were what the market wanted at the time. In 1984, the Ford Thunderbird/Mercury Cougar duo outsold the quartet of the Chevrolet Monte Carlo, Pontiac Grand Prix, Oldsmobile Cutlass, and Buick Regal. |
