Might be a Piglet. Not sure why some thumbs have black arches and others grey. If it's home-made they've gone to a bit of effort. |

If you want to keep pushing the home-made theme, I won't argue as I can't pin a match on it. But what I can say is grille badge is LAND ROVER 110, so pre-Defender. If originally a civilian model, looks like June 84+ one-piece side windows and before Oct 86 new door handles. Mirrors look mid-80s onwards as well. However if they used an ex-military or ex-army thing as base, these kept the older door handles for several years longer. |

That was just an idea I'm happy to leave behind. But on a wider level I think we should be very wary of assuming there was only one style/incarnation of Piglet, more like a fairly big litter of versions during an intermediate phase before Tangis etc were developed. Not much solid info out there, but this page suggests an evolving family of specs and templates for different purposes. |
