Involved in action by the using of the horn. Plus I'm nearly sure that it was a bus rented by the crew, as we can see it also in the background (in scenes set in a different city). I bet it is the same:![]() I've also modified a bit the way of naming in case of this Iran Khodro's made Mercedeses, by adding the "MB" to the model name. It maybe wouldn't be so stupid to do the same with the truks (built on the MB licence). Another O302, but with different body (Turkish Otomarsan?) * : ![]() |

How can you tell that it's Iranian? By the way, Iran Khodro was named Iran National until 1979: Link to "zawya.com" -- Last edit: 2009-01-14 21:28:33 |

In the 1970's we imported from Iran a lot of them. The red-white colors says that it is bus of the Orbis, company, which had a big fleet of these vehicles. There were already some on the site. Here you can see the characteristic script under the windshild: /vehicle_91248-Iran-Khodro-MB-O-302-O-302.html And from the net - a smaller one, which survived in some small company to the 1990's: http://przegubowiec.pl/galeria/displayimage.php?album=204&pos=19 It is the last pic/link, which misled me about the make. As after the 1979 not many of them were imported and in the 1980's bigger, Iranian O302 Orbis replaced by newer vehicles from different sources (for example "original" MB's or MB's O302 with O303 alike body, built by the Turkish Otomarsan). So you are right, the make will be a Irannational - written as one word http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2198/2171715069_9c36f90e77.jpg?v=0 Edit: I've renamed all other with not well visible badge. -- Last edit: 2009-01-14 22:58:11 |
