Sounds like a Dodge indeed, as Fargo panels have a different grille and Plymouth did apparently only make delivery panels (i.e. made on a passenger car chassis). 1939-47 Dodge Job-Rated panel, with the 1941-47 grille: a W-Series. With the 1941-42 (or most likely 1941 only) chrome lower grille. As short panel (116"/2.95 m wheelbase), it can only be a ½-ton model, which means a WC Dodge code indeed. The accurate name was Panel, without truck or anything else. And the WC code means ½-ton, so giving twice the nominal payload is not useful. ⇒ 1941 Dodge W-Series Panel [WC] |
