Probably yes and no. Volvo bought the tractor manufacturer Bolinder Munktell (shortened BM)(both independent manufacturers of tractors with a joint history from 1932) in 1950. The company was then named "BM Volvo" and only changed in 1973. It was thereafter called "Volvo BM AB" However, Volvo had independent manufacturing of tractors beginning in 1941 and those tractors always begin with a T = SWE: Traktor. BM tractors were painted dark green and Volvo Tractors were painted red. Perhaps this is a Volvo T24 (if driven with kerosene) or T25 (if driven with petrol), perhaps a BM Volvo. I dont know. |

I will visit the D-A-K office to see if they we have some information on those tractors. That is not impossible as loads of information on historic military vehicles was brought to D-A-K when they cleaned a storage at the local regiment.
