With each car built strictly to order on a custom-made jig (taking 14 weeks from order to delivery), the Eventer could be created either from a customer’s existing XJS or based on a brand-new car. Hence the Eventer ‘model range’ reflected Jaguar’s full array of six-cylinder and V12 XJS models – along with many of the highly desirable upgrades available as options on the manufacturer-built car, such as nylon steering bushes.

According to John Mayston-Taylor, former Chairman and Managing Director of Lynx, just 67 Eventers were built over the 16 years of its production, so they are a rare sight today. The last of these models, delivered to the final Eventer customer in Summer 2002

Anyway to ID which one it is?

Left hand drive and being Italian based could help.

A total of 52 Eventers were built by Lynx prior to the XJS’s 1991 facelift and 15 more after the facelift with 18 of them being left hand drive and 49 being right hand drive.

Perhaps it's #62 -> 1991 Jaguar XJS

Agree source figures of 67 built - 52 pre-facelift, 15 afterwards. 49 RHD, 18 LHD presumably for Europe. One went to Germany but nothing for the other 17. The last one built in 2002 was a customer-supplied 6.0 XJR-S. At least one was fitted with XJ-SC roof panels, but not by Lynx.
