 By the spare-wheel, the shape of the fender, the hubcaps and the steering-wheel, it's a pre-war car.

 Three stars, not four (as FIAT 1100 R, used in so many episodes that we can see it's getting older & older).
Mercedes was played on 2nd episode, few scenes only, however some of them important & few minutes long.
