Weasel1984 ◊ 2008-12-17 15:45	No Sputnik name. If this would be in Russia (or USSR) I would name this one as VAZ 21099 Samara. But it is Ukraine after the collapse of the USSR and the car is post 1993. Interesting under what name it was known there (probably was also assembled in the UA).
Metroine ◊ 2010-11-07 12:36	VAZ 21099 is CKD-assembled in Ukraine since early 2000s. The design is unchanged, so this car can be of 1992-2008. Today it is not produced in Russia (Avtovaz), but only in small plants, notably in Ukraine. Since 1990s only VAZ 2108 were known as "Sputnik", 2109 - "Samara". Sedan 21099 - nameless. Yet, all of these cars are mostly known by their numbers, as 8, 9, 99.

Round instrument panel, bright-grey interior plastic, black grille, Ukrainian location... It should be late Ukrainian-built VAZ 210994-20 with 1.6 injection engine - Samara-2 panel confirms in well.
