In 1964 that grille with thick horizontal bar was Austin only. Their FGs had various names (S200, T200, 304); this looks like a probable tanker for liquids so heavier duty spec seems likely and possibly 404.  Any FG naming experts out there??Also depending where this is, SAVA in Spain assembled FGs from 1961 as the S66 range, including a small capacity fire service water tanker - not an exact match, but similar principle. That particular one in Zaragoza fire museum has been replicated in a Spanish partwork series by IXO/Altaya. |
