might be a 1974+ 3.0 CS with safety bumpers already, don't think 2.5 CS https://glenshelly.com/sales/sold-full/1974-bmw-30-cs |

I believe the rear badge is too long to be a 3.0 CS. Instead I believe it's a 2800 CS Link to "e9coupe.com" and https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970-bmw-2800cs-8/ . |

Agree - that was my thought when I first looked at it. But 2 problems - 2800 CS died a couple of years before safety bumpers arrived, leaving only 3.0 versions for US, and it has the newer alloys. So it should be a 73+ 3.0 something. And now I'm stuck. |

Here's a 1974 BMW 3.0 CS https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1974-bmw-3-0cs-73/ (many pictures below) complete with safety bumpers, brow metallic paint and alloys. Now it's up to you admin to decide if the badge is only partly visible on the featured filmed car, or if it has been changed. Both alternatives are possible. -- Last edit: 2025-11-17 20:41:53 |
