zodiac ◊ 2025-10-19 21:37	I cannot see if it is extended, but I'll guess not. Therefore I'd say it's a 1968+ [W 108]. That is most likely a 280 S or a 280 SE, but could also (albeit very unlikely) be a 250 S, or having a V8 engine.

I should have explained what those numbers and letters mean. 280 usually means 2.8 litre engine capacity, however that can vary for a number of reasons. S = GER: Sonderausstattung = ENG: Special Edition E = Einspritzmotor = ENG: Fuel Injected Engine. L = GER: Lang = ENG: Long, which means that the rear legroom is extended with, If I recall this correctly, 100 mm.
