there is a quite odd fact here, the car seems to have a normal right big Head light , but no left! and one or two inesthetical additional lights on the front wings! ![]() other precision : though the action seems to be in the famous "Bois de Boulogne" in Paris, the lady is not a "pink bird" whatever the concupiscent eyes of the driver would let think ... she has lost her dog, and the "gentleman" propose her a lift to look for her doggie ![]() |

I go for a Delage roadster of 1932 probably D6.The grille is typical Delage and it has the 1932 ventilation doors on the sides of the hood. 1932 Delages had small additional standing lights on top of the front wings .However the large light mounted at mid-height on the left wing seems totaly abnormal and is a mystery. The coachwork looks very interesting with a rather modern ( for the early thirties) curved rear end and what appears to be a sliding dickey seat cover. One can also see the step-on plate for the dickey seat.Unfortunately I have no idea of the origin of this body.Does anyone know?.I would be very interested. This car must have been quite recent at the moment the movie was made.Hope they found the doggie back. |
