Yes, it's a old 379 like when they first came out in 1987 so this is a 1987-1993 Style 379 Peterbilt |

the only difference between a 359 and a 379 is head lights and the metal strip on the hood the 359 has multible the 379 has one so it could be either |

Look at the Breathers, the Breathers are like the 379's |

As the owner of a 379, I have to add this. The difference between a 359 and a 379 can be seen by the air cleaners. On a 359, there will be a tube coming out of the front of the air cleaner and right into the side of the hood. On a 379, the tube is not visible from the outside of the truck. the tube on a 379 goes directly into the cowl. The headlights is nothing to go by because you can bolt a set of round headlights on a 379 very easily. Also, 359s were available with square headlights. I wasn't trying to be rude, just trying to help explain what I consider the easiest way to tell the 2 trucks apart. |

You explained it in a perfect way and good way, bro. And as i said. Several Peterbilt's, not only 359s were used for the movie. |
