Politically correct message painted on the side of the trailer.

:??: What is 'politically correct' about it?

At that time fur coats were being bought by rich people alot more than today. So this message back then was the underdog. Maybe "politically correct" was the wrong adjective to use.

About the message on the trailer, it was probably done intentionally. Richard Donner, the director, sprinkled in subliminal messaging/propaganda throughout the Lethal Weapon series. This includes the anti-apartheid stickers and posters seen at the Murtaugh household (and the use of South Africans as villains in LW 2), gun control posters in the police station (I won't even get into that one), and this truck.

Ultra rare SilverAero version of the FLD120. Less than 1,000 were made.
