Belfast's first rear-engined 'decker was a one-off Leyland Atlantean PDR1/1 Alexander new in 1960. They then switched to Daimler Fleetline CRG6LX / MH Coachworks in from 1962 and by mid 1963 there would be about 70 of these in service. The bodies were very similar to each other, but when they were delivered the Fleetlines had three opening windows on the upper-deck (as in this photo) whereas the Atlantean only had two.
