 '96 Ford Fiesta?

 Looks like a 1989-93 Ford Fiesta Mk3 (small square side indicators) with an aftermarket front bumper, maybe german Selzer?
[Image: selzer_edit_940336785725783.jpg] Selzer had different front bumper variants for the Fiesta Mk3, found only this on the web. Wheels look like typical german aftermarket "tuner" wheels from the mid-/late-90s, size 7x14, Steffan BCW or something similar. The plate confuses me, the Mk3 has never been sold in the US. As I don't know the movie, this was filmed completely in the US or also somewhere else?

Yeah, I know, it isn't exactly the Aperto bumper as is has different headlamps, but it's the closest I found on the web.

For sure it's a Fiesta Mk3 and not one of the South African compact (Mazda-based) Fords. Have a look at the windscreen wipers, it's clearly LHD.
