But if only a little bit realism should be there, it's rather a 5-series. This was -still is- a popular German police-car, not the 3-series, even not as four-door. The cars above have the colours of the Bavarian police. In Bavaria BMW is -surely- very common. Sometimes cars from "Prussia" -so everything German outside of Bavaria- aren't accepted there. @walter: yes, Audi is "Bavarian" in Bavarian eyes, too. -- Last edit: 2008-10-27 21:06:46 |

I've seen the series, and few first episodes are set in Düsseldorf and I think the 1st episode timeline is set in 1986. |

Ingo says above that the cars are in Bavarian police livery. The animators probably worked from a photo of a Munich police car and copied the number plate along with everything else. |
