I don't think SteveA's site identifies this bus (lighter coloured at the back) so perhaps not possible to say? Edit: Composite picture of complete bus added... ![]() The other darker bus is identified. -- Last edit: 2008-10-24 13:08:47 |

As Sunbar says, there is no ID offered for this, but there can't have been that many rear entrance half cab single deck coaches as most tended to have the entrance in the centre or just behind the front wheel. I'll keep looking. |

I wondered about that when I saw it. Maybe it's a coach that has been converted into a service bus? It has a prewar look to it. |

Composite picture of complete bus added to first comment. |

I've forwarded (e-mailed) a link to this page onto SteveA, hopefully he will reply, if not too busy. ![]() |

Though I'm not the best expert for these , what about a Thornicroft SG/NR6? body to be determined |

Dennis Lancet 1, a rear entrance version of this: http://www.dennisbusowners.co.uk/photopr/images/mj4549.jpg |

The headlight position, radiator shape front mudguard look quite different to me? Also the body style looks to be earlier for the Dennis I think. |

It could be a Bristol if they built a version with rear entry http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2042423680044442179UVqkap Or it could be a Maudslay. The forward angle on the body below the nearside front windscreen is pretty distinctive andacutally quite unusual as most busses tended to heave dead flat 'fronts' on the nearside. |
