Perhaps (Kurtis-Miller) Ross Page Special with an Offenhauser engine? It raced during the 1948 Indy 500 season with this livery, although in the box score (Wikipedia), they refer to this #26 race car driven by Fred Agabashian as Kurtis Kraft Duray for some reason.
