9 HLA is 1964 chassis 5467GT, one of only 23 RHDs. Bought new by Rory McEwen (Scottish folk singer and famous painter of flowers) living in London; delivered in silver, but had been ordered in Aston Martin 'Roman Purple', so Maranello Concessionaires sent it to Harold Radford in Chiswick for repainting. I think I made a wrong career choice somewhere along the line - perhaps I should start learning the banjo and how to paint daisies and buttercups |
