I think this car started life as a 1952 Chevrolet. The taillights might be those of a 1952 Lincoln (because of the 'Continental' spare wheel?). |

A very heavily customized 1949-1952 Chevrolet. The grille is a 1952 unit, although given the heavy customization, it might have been added (not uncommon, since the 1952 grille is considered more "aggressive" looking than the 1949-1951). Calling it a 1952 is probably a pretty safe bet, though. Appears to not even be a factory convertible, but rather a coupe with the roof cut off.
