From the VINs that I'm currently checking I see that Peugeot model years are kept longer than usual into the year, not much clear how they handle them ![]() |

And how do they handle the 207 and 208 facelifts? I am suspecting that the 207 facelift is considered 2010, because it uses the new VIN format, despite having a '9' as 10th digit (which could be simply the production year at this point) |

So they really did use 10th digit as MY since 2010? I didn't know that. But if there is a 9 for early post-facelift ones, shouldn't that mean that's still 2009? Or that is always the production year? This just seems to add more confusion ![]() |
