993cc ◊ 2025-01-08 23:31	^True, no F40 left the factory gates in anything other than Rosso Corsa. Even those that were... supposedly a "special order by some very good client blah blah blah". But quite a few of the 1300+ cars have been repainted (I've seen silver, blue, white, yellow, black cars etc). Some even to a very high standard as they went back to Pininfarina to be repainted/redone. But still non-original.. (and some have been re-repainted to Rosso Corsa red)

993cc ◊ 2025-01-09 00:12	Basically the owner (David Lee) said in an interview (with Jay Leno I think?) he wanted the 5 "halo" car set (288 GTO/F40/F50/Enzo/LaFerrari) but twice over. 5 in red and 5 in yellow. A few collectors mainly in the US have this set but not twice... However his yellow GTO, F40 and LaF were originally red. The first 2 came only in red from factory.
