That's what I'm thinking.

Agreed. I'm going to take a punt that this is Mk2. Mk1 seems to have had a flash - sometimes with badge (Diesel??) on the side bodywork as part of the lower wing ahead of the front wheel - example, another - which was absent on Mk2.

If this is confirmed, we can probably clean up several Traders in our collection??

After a quick survey, I cannot definitely confirm the MkI vs MkII side flash difference, however one interpretation is that '4D' and '6D' combined badge and side flash on MkI was for diesel only the petrol versions being without any badge and side flash. The MKII diesel had a simple small Diesel badge with no side flash.

MkI without combined badge and side flash, possibly indicating a petrol engine?
Examples here also here.

 Not as simple as I'd hoped. Some Mk1s had flash without badge - example, another - which gives 3 Mk1 permutations - flash & badge, plain flash, or no flash. But I think we can say no flashes on any Mk2, so flash = Mk1 subset.

I also looked at front indicators as there seem to be variations within bodywork or standing up as small lollipops, but couldn't make sense of them. There may also be something about front wheels - early ones having an extended collar to provide a "step" up to the cabin, later ones without. Again not a definite observation or pattern, but this Mk2 looks without.
