Fake locations. The car is also visible in the background (without "taxi" sign): -- Last edit: 2008-09-30 22:52:13 |

propos fake locations, where were the airport-scenes shot? It's not the old airport of München (as written at the Opel Rekord-pic). The police-Ford and -Opel are fakes, the pictogrammes of the airport-exit were thought as West German one, but doesn't fit (the origin pictogrammes were created for Olympia 1972). Also an Ikarus-Bus wouldn't be much probable at a West German airport. And last but not least: AGIP-gas-stations were alswas very rare in Germany. The houses (ca.1900-1920) in the background of the Mercedes-thumbnails are looking "Eastern", GDR or Poland. |

Weasel1984 says on the main page that one scene takes place in East Berlin, with an S-Bahn train in the background. They wouldn't go there just for one scene, so they must have filmed other scenes there. I would guess that they shot scenes set in Switzerland and West Germany there. |

Hmm, probably. The scene in East Berlin, in the hotel-lobby, was shot at the Alexanderplatz. But I cannot say, in which house. And the uniform, at least the cap, of the policeman above, looks GDRish, too. GDRish by the style, but it was coloured in the West German police-green and -brown. |

It is indeed in East Germany or in Hungary (but if you say that unforms are similar to those from GDR) - for a while a "shadow" of orange/yellow Ikarus is visible - such colors had buses from East Berlin, but I think similar one was also used in Hungarian suburban buses. |
