No, that's the whole reason it was called EMW. Because the Eisenach plant in the East continued using the BMW name, the Munich plant in the West sent a cease and desist to stop using the name on cars not manufactured by Bayerische Motorenwerke AG. Thusly, the plant was renamed 'Eisenacher Motorenwerke' and featured the red and white logo. But this badge may not be original. |
