In 1969 a new assembly line at Eagle Farm (Brisbane) replaced previous "nearby leased premises" and assembled the last Aus build in Oct 83 (a Series 10 6610). So I guess Aus build for this 2000 is plausible, even if not mentioned in main sources. However have switched to US origin.
