On the right side is one of the black Ford Edges seen in different scenes. The Landy has a "little" action scene, so should we be fair and give him |

I can just imagine if that dude ( if it wasn't Bond) accidently fell! LOL! He'd be like 'Oh, crap!' -- Last edit: 2009-01-21 20:15:57 |

It looks like an old Defender but in the scene from the inside view of the car it looks like the new one (with the blowed bonnet), you ould see tha absence of the classic ventilation mechanism. |

As the film was made in 2008 it would be a late model with the Ford engine and bulged bonnet. A clue that this is the case is the total lack of badging on the sides for the engine. |

This is a picture of the Defender before it was customized for the film (it is LHD, but has a British plate) - the year should be set as 2007. |

The other way to tell a 2007+ Defender is that the flaps under the windscreen are sealed up. Obvious on a couple of thumbnails here. On the Td5 and earlier they could open. I've seen a few earlier ones with the later bonnet fitted but the vents difficult if not impossible to change. Also they fitted the dash with round vents at the same time. -- Last edit: 2016-06-15 18:32:37 |
