dsl ◊ 2024-07-06 01:57	I know, but it's been a long day ... 65 plate doesn't match a Mk2 (or later) grille. Nothing specific in visible details to make a definite ID, except 10" wheels mean pre-82. Can't see if external door hinges (Mk1/2) or not. Best guess (but a fairly shaky peg) - trust the plate date and ignore the newer grille/bonnet, as they can be swapped, call it a Cooper as it's a bit racy. And scrub made for US.

dsl ◊ 2024-07-06 02:31	^ Useful to confirm sliding windows so Mk1/2, and possibly external hinges. Possibly looks de-seamed, which might point to a Radford or similar upgrade. Which suggests plate date may be genuine, meaning the grille is a non-original update. So I'm sticking with my verdict.
