2491tj ◊ 2008-08-09 15:40	nope...that long bonnet, and low slung headlights and different grille identify it as a P2M...the earlier version ..the P3 replaced this one ..the P2M bodywork was patterned on the wartime VW Kubel, whereas the P3 body was more UAZ styled in appearance.

ZiL135 ◊ 2008-08-09 17:06	Yes, this 4x4 vehicle is a Sachsenring P2M built on East Germany on mid-50's. Commonly used by the East German Army (NVA) and Fire fighters (Feuerwehr). The P3 were the next series of military jeeps and were built on early 60's decade. IFA (Industrie-vereinigung Volkseigener Fahrzeugwerke) was a collective property and State owned union of East German veihcle manufacturers.
