Corrected info - those particular wheel trims came from a scrapyard Maestro Clubman. ARonline has a geeky but fascinating account of the Ambassador's only export market - Ireland, where 110 were sold. There were never any LHDs, and no other markets outside UK. That page gets even more interesting - hard to believe but true - in the comments when John Shuttleworth himself joins the discussion with anecdotes about his two Ambassadors, including issues which many others of us experienced in the 1980s using C-120 cassettes in car stereos - C-90s were much safer. |
